Finished my second patch! 2/ 30 books (so far) 😅. Really proud of this one, I used 4 different stitches and played with the amount of strands to fill in and outline the design

Omg this is soooo cool I love these! Are these all going on one shirt together? If so you gotta add a new whole shirt photo for each addition! Haha

Feeling inspired now after uploading this and getting encouragement from friends. Going to make it a priority to get more patches done.

Should I add beads to some of these patches??

I would LOVE to see some bead work. It just sounds fun. What kind of beads though? (aside: this is a perfect opportunity for an arrested development reference/gif lol. Note to self.. add gif support.).
@Jesi they would be the seed beads? I think that's what they are called. I got a ton from a garage sale a while ago and haven't done anything with them lol

Beads would be sweet! For some reason first thing that came to mind is a holiday scene with string lights, where the individual lights are little beads haha.
@pyroty yeah definitely!! I do have a book that holiday themed I could totally use that for!!

This is awesome!! Embroidery looks so cool, but it also always looks so daunting because most of what gets shared around is often super complex and very planned out pixel by pixel, but this more simple sketch / freehand approach is so much more approachable looking and also in many ways has a lot more character. Can't wait to see more patches!

Yeah I can't wait to see the final patch done!
