About Palette

Palette is a studio dashboard for creative work that's still in the middle of being something. It's for the painting you keep coming back to, the essay in its fourth revision, the app that lives mostly in your head, or the project that's been drying for three months and isn't ready yet. It's for the polymath who has fifteen simultaneous threads across wildly different domains and needs one place that holds all of them without forcing them into a corporate workflow app.

The name is intentional. Your palette holds all the colors you're working with right now, whether that's a weekend home improvement project, a half-finished painting, or something you haven't named yet.

Cozy Design

Palette was built with a deliberately soft, muted, low-animation visual aesthetic. That wasn't a stylistic accident. It was a choice made by someone who is AuDHD, for people whose nervous systems need a workspace that doesn't shout.

In addition to being a light organizational tool, Palette celebrates the random errant thought, the late-night sketch, the quiet gesture of sharing something unfinished. You can keep your palette completely private, or engage with others gently and on your own terms. When you're ready to share, please do. You might be surprised how many people love watching your process, not just your finished work.

If you've ever found productivity tools overwhelming, visually cluttered, or just not made for the way your brain works, this was built with you in mind.

Accessibility is a work in progress here. If something's hard to use, please tell me! You can write to hello@heartandhues.com

The Spark

Palette started as a personal tool for one person tracking a life that refuses to stay in one lane. It was a single HTML file on a local machine. Then it grew, the way projects do, and it became something shareable. It lives now at palette.heartandhues.com, and it's open to anyone who wants to use it: friends, fellow makers, small art communities wherever they are. Someday, hopefully, more of those.

The Creator

Palette was built by Jessica Loredo, an AuDHD product designer and painter, and a clinical counseling intern. Game development is an old love she trained for at SMU Guildhall, and Palette is where she's building games again.

Palette runs on Vercel, Upstash Redis, Cloudinary, Neon, and Better Auth. It was built with Cursor and Claude, and designed by its creator. It lives at palette.heartandhues.com. For support contact hello@heartandhues.com.
